PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
Romans 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.
Patience is a virtue. It is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Patience sometimes is unpleasant but it is the best thing to do. These days, people are in a hurry to make it big in life. They are in a haste to be established in life. This has led many people to venture into negative activities. In fact, some people are now standing in the arena of regret because of lack of patience. They are gnashing their teeth in sorrow and are feeling apologetic about their actions. Lack of patience have made some men to take impulsive decisions that have ruined their lives.
Lack of patience sponsors outright failure. In fact, calamity and catastrophe is inevitable when you operate on the podium of impatience. It was lack of patience that made king Saul to perform sacrificial activities which was solely done by priest and the resultant effect was a calamitous ending. He was rejected by God from continuing as the king of Israel and he equally died a shameful death (1 Samuel 13:1-14 and 1 Samuel 31:1-7).
I urge you today to put on the garment of patience. Lack of patience have plunge many people into unscrupulous activities. Lack of patience ruptures the destinies of men. It makes men to act contrary to the dictates of the Holy scriptures. It equally makes men to operate outside the will of God for their life. Due to lack of patience some ladies have ventured into prostitution in order to acquire money and properties which has no eternal value. Some are even in unwholesome relationships with married men just because of the little gain of this world. Likewise, some young men have settled with cybercrime activities due to lack of patience.
Hear me beloved of God, that your expectations and heart desires are not forthcoming does not mean that God has forsaken you. Delay is not denial. That your age mates are getting married, buying cars and building houses should not sway you into a negative mood. There is no expiring date in getting married, buying cars, building houses or even getting a well-paying job. Just keep your faith alive and be patient, at the appointed time your expectations will surely come into manifestation (Proverbs 23:18).
